Week 1 – Welcome and let’s Paint a Picture

Week 1: Live Replay

Recap:

In this first session, we began our Dreamers and Doers journey with a focus on envisioning our futures and defining what the next chapter of life could look like. I guided everyone through a vision-storming exercise, encouraging you to think about where you see yourself in five years. We touched on goals, dreams, feeling stuck, and how to begin moving forward.

Building a life by design, not by default starts with dreaming.

Key themes included:

  • Creating intention: Many of you shared feelings of needing/wanting to shift . The goal is to not only visualize what you want in the future but also how you want to feel—more aligned, joyful, and fulfilled.
  • Acknowledging support: I asked you to reflect on who has supported you, both recently and early in your life. Gratitude for these relationships is important as we move forward.
  • Dreaming boldly: Let’s create a Painted Picture to dream big and be unapologetic about what you envision for your future, whether that includes lifestyle changes, career shifts, or new opportunities.

Assignment for the Week: do or don’t do…this is your time/sessions

  1. Vision Storming Exercise: Take time to refine your painted picture of life in five years. Journal about:
How old will you be in five years?
    • Where and how are you living — and how does it feel?
    • Who’s in your daily world? Who do you see, talk to, and spend time with?
    • How do you spend your time when you’re not working? What brings you joy?
    • What does work look like — or purpose, if not work?
    • How does money flow in? How does it feel — easy, abundant, enough?
    • What brings you peace and fulfillment?
    • When you wake up each morning, how do you feel?
    • How do you move around — car, walking, travel, RV, plane?
    • What is your home like (physical environment, energy, details)?
    • Who are you collaborating with or mentoring?
    • How are you involved in your community? Are you visible, connected, known?
    • Who do you support — parents, kids, others — and how does that feel?
    • How’s your health, energy, and rhythm of life?
    • What makes you laugh until you cry?
    • What indulgent or purely selfish thing have you added to your life? (Tesla, garden studio, morning swim, etc.)
    • What does your ideal celebration look like when something amazing happens?
    • keep drilling down – get as detailed as you want…
  2. Gratitude Practice: Identify at least one person from your list of supporters and send them a message of thanks. Reflect on how this acknowledgment feels. I want to encourage you to reach out, send a note, a card or a text to someone on that list if you feel called to.

Week 2 – Find the gaps Foundational Life Pillars

Week 2: Live Replay

Recap of week 2

In our session, we focused on our Foundational Pillars and discussed the importance of creating a “Thrive List” to support our well-being and the journey toward our dreams. Together, we used the Wheel of Life to assess and rate areas like health, purpose, finances, relationships, and environment, aiming to better align these aspects of life with our visions.
Our goal was to identify micro-upgrades—small changes that can enhance our daily lives and contribute meaningfully to long-term goals.

Key insights from our session included:

  • Identify your Foundational Pillars: What areas of your life are important to your well-being
  • Micro-Upgrades: Small, intentional actions can create big shifts in our well-being. We explored ideas like refreshing worn-out personal items, organizing spaces, or setting clearer boundaries to prioritize
  • Questioning Habits: I encouraged us to take a fresh look at our routines and spending habits, asking if these align with where we truly want to be in life.
  • Setting Non-Negotiables: Developing a Thrive List—our essentials for mental and emotional well-being—can help keep us anchored and aligned.
  • What’s Not Coming in 2026: We focused on identifying what no longer serves us, to let go of, to make space for new, supportive habits and routine.

Assignment/something to work on this week:

  1. Complete Your Foundational Life Pillars: What area of your life matter? this is a check in on how you are feeling about each area.
  2. Thrive List: Identify the non-negotiables that support your well-being and happiness. These might be small, but they’re essential for staying aligned with your goals.
  3. Micro-Upgrades: Implement at least one micro-upgrade in each pillar area you rated lower than you’d like. Some examples we discussed include refreshing a workspace, setting a new boundary, or planning a small but joyful activity.
  4. Eliminate What’s Not Serving You: List items, habits, or routines you’re leaving behind in 2024 to make room for the goals and visions you’re bringing into 2026.

Feel free to share your insights or questions in the Telegram group for further encouragement and feedback!

Week 3 – Let’s get clarity

Week 3: Live Replay

Recap of week 3 – seeking clarity.

In this session, we reflected on the Thrive Lists and discussed the importance of identifying life pillars that truly matter.

  • Living Document: The Thrive List is a dynamic tool that should evolve as you do. Regularly revisit and update it based on your current aspirations and needs.
  • Embracing Joy: Participants expressed the importance of creating “empty spaces” in their calendars to foster joy and spontaneity, rather than packing every moment with obligations.
  • Overcoming Limiting Beliefs: A central discussion point was about the fears and societal pressures that can inhibit personal growth and the pursuit of new ventures.
  • Exploration: the members were encouraged to explore new ideas and experiences that excite them and to not shy away from ambitious goals.

A little homework:

  1. Thrive List Reflection: Revisit your Thrive List and make any necessary updates to think bigger. Consider what new experiences or joys you want to add.
  2. Brain Dump Exercise: Write down all your skills, experiences, and interests, no matter how small. This can include past jobs, hobbies, or any activities that bring you joy. Reflect on how these can contribute to your current goals.
  3. Idea Parking Lot: Create an “idea parking lot” document (either digital or physical) where you can jot down any ideas or inspirations that come to you, even if they aren’t actionable right now. This helps clear your mind while keeping potential projects on your radar.
  4. Identify what you want to work towards in one or more categories: Based on your reflections and the exercise, identify one audacious goal you’d like to pursue in the coming months. Outline a simple action plan to start working toward it.

Prompts and Questions for Further Reflection:

  • What does success look like for you at this stage in your life?
  • What are the small, manageable steps you can take today to move toward your goal?
  • How can you incorporate joy into your daily routine?
  • Who in your network can you lean on for support or collaboration in your journey?
  • What limiting beliefs do you need to challenge or let go of to pursue your goals?

Feel free to share your thoughts and reflections in the Telegram group or email if you have questions or need further support. Let’s continue to support each other as we move forward!

Week 4 – Chart your moves

Week 4: Live Replay

Recap of week 4 – Chart your moves

This week’s session emphasized defining our top five “moves” to make meaningful progress over the next three to six months. We discussed aligning these moves with our life pillars (health, relationships, purpose, joy) and painted pictures to help everyone create specific and make them “check-offable” actions. We also focused on acknowledging fears, real-life bandwidth, and self-doubt that might arise and using grounding practices, like a Thrive List and reverse engineering, to stay aligned with our goals.

Remember, you get to fly your freak flag and have your weird dreams of success and freedom. It can be whatever you want it to be.

💫A thought for you “What you focus on expands”.

Assignment for the week:

  • Define Your Five Moves: Identify five clear, realistic moves or goals for the next three to six months that align with your life pillars and painted picture. (Ask WHY…why this move?)
  • Prioritize & Filter: Make sure each move is meaningful to you and not influenced by external expectations.
  • Create an Idea Parking Lot: Write down other exciting ideas for future reference, freeing up focus for the main moves at hand.

Some takeaways this week:

  • Reverse Engineering Goals: Start with your long-term vision and work backward, breaking down steps needed to reach that vision.
  • The Power of Five Moves: Five intentional, achievable moves can foster progress without overwhelming.
  • Joy and Health as Foundations: Cultivating joy and maintaining health are essential to sustainable success. Make sure the move aligns with what matters to you.
  • Thrive List: Maintaining regular activities that boost well-being can act as an anchor during challenging times.

Some prompts for the week:

  • What does “success” look like for me in each of my life pillars (health, relationships, purpose, joy)?
  • Which single move on my list, if achieved, would have the greatest positive ripple effect on other areas?
  • Am I focusing on what genuinely excites and fulfills me, or am I following a “should”?
  • What potential obstacles might arise, and how can I prepare to navigate them?
  • Who can I connect with or seek support from to help me achieve my moves?
  • Where do you catch yourself saying “just”? Let’s remove that from our vocabulary
  • What’s possible if you expand your thinking?
  • Remember to ask: why can’t you?
  • What needs to be true for you to make these moves?

Week 5 – Habits and Mindset

Week 5: Live Replay

Week 5 recap:

This week focused on identifying personal habits, strategies, and self-beliefs to navigate challenges and stay aligned with our goals. The session also emphasized building confidence through action and creating systems to simplify our workflows.

A few reminders..

“Self-belief is a choice. We get to decide if we believe in ourselves.”

Some takeaways fro the week:

  1. Clarity and Belief:
    • The power of believing in your goals and yourself.
    • Recognizing the confidence that comes from completing what you set out to do.
    • Facing fears of rejection and framing “no” as not about you, but as a natural part of the process.
  2. Energy and Habits:
    • Understanding your energy flow and scheduling tasks accordingly.
    • Creating standards out of habits, such as dedicating time for learning or self-care.
    • Using tools like Pomodoro timers to maintain focus and productivity.
  3. Simplicity and Rewards:
    • Asking, “How can I make this simple?” for every task.
    • Pairing challenging tasks with small pleasures (e.g., good coffee, favorite music).
  4. Avoiding Sabotage:
    • Identifying personal sabotages, from over-scheduling to fear of failure.
    • Tracking sabotages as they happen to address patterns and create solutions.
  5. Commitment to Growth:
    • Investing time in learning or revisiting previously purchased courses.
    • Taking consistent small steps toward bigger goals.
  6. Using CTFAR Circumstances > Create Thoughts > Create Feeling > Create Action > Create Results – we have control to change the results by leaning into how we THINK about every situation/habit/sabbotage

Assignment for Week 6:

  1. Reflection:
    • Write down your key goals for the next 30-60 days. Be specific about what you want to achieve and experience.
    • Identify potential sabotages and create plans to overcome them.
  2. Simplify and Schedule:
    • Review your calendar and block time for “non-negotiables” (e.g., self-care, admin tasks, learning).
    • For every goal, write how you can make it simpler to achieve.
    • Keep moving forward, one thoughtful step at a time. You’re doing amazing work! Let’s finish strong. 💡✨

Week 6 – Pulling it all together

Week 6: Live Replay

It;s our last week!

A Bittersweet Goodbye

I can’t believe we’ve reached the final session of the Dreamers and Doers Collective. It’s always bittersweet wrapping up something so meaningful. I’m so proud of all of you and the incredible energy, insight, and growth you’ve brought to this group. It’s been an absolute joy to watch you lean into your dreams and take steps toward what’s possible.

Celebrating Your Wins

This week, we took time to celebrate some incredible accomplishments, your insights, encouragement, and willingness to share have created something truly special. I hope you feel as proud of yourselves as I do of each of you.

Key Takeaways and Reflections

We spent some time reflecting on all we’ve learned over the past six weeks. The common thread has been about embracing momentum and turning dreams into actionable steps. I loved hearing your plans to keep moving forward, using what we’ve built together as a foundation for your next chapters. Remember to keep leaning into the tools and ideas we’ve explored—you’ve got this!

We discussedd that you cannot operate at full capacity all the time. We taught the capacity cup concept:
Your load includes time, money, energy, emotional bandwidth, and creative bandwidth.
Margin is the space you protect at the top.
Without margin you cannot absorb surprises or new opportunities. Entrepreneurs especially tend to overfill their capacity.

The Five Monthly Questions shares

These are the five questions I use to check in with myself.

  1. What am I proud of?

  2. What do I wish I had done better?

  3. What worked this month?

  4. What did not work this month?

  5. What matters most going into next month?

These questions take about fifteen minutes and are meant to be answered with curiosity, not criticism.

An Invitation to Keep Going

As we wrap up, I want to invite you to keep going, and join me in the Lighthouse Collective, where we can continue this journey together. It’s a space for connection with other women out of your normal friend or peer group,  mentorship, and growth, and I’d love to see you there. The progress you’ve made is just the beginning, and having the right support network can make all the difference as you keep reaching for your goals.
