Show Notes:
Even if you are not a reader, try the habit of reading for 15 minutes a day. It’s all it takes to open up your mind to new concepts and new things, new mentors and bigger ideas.
Here are some great business books that I love and their “highlight reel”:
- The One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan – easy-to-read and will help you decide what’s truly important.
- Sell the Way You Buy by David Priemer – dives into how we are selling to our customers and how our brand story works with our customers.
- Superfans by Pat Flynn – all about building a brand that your customers love. Build your fanbase!
- Get Different by Mike Michalowicz – Learn how to stand out amongst the crowd. Mike also wrote Profit First.
- The Self Employed Life by Jeffrey Shaw – Truly understand the mindset of self employment. You can also read his book Lingo or listen to his podcast!
- I’ll Be Back by Shep Hyken – How to excel at customer experience. Also wrote Be Amazing or Go Home.
- Atomic Habits by James Clear – I read this one a lot! Learn how to create small habits that will compound and progress.
