Episode Summary:
Our overall motto going into 2022, friends, is “how can we make things light and easy?” Believe it or not, content planning CAN be EASY!
I know content can be overwhelming.
Are you staring at the screen wondering what to share and put out there and when?
Whether you’re using Facebook, Instagram, email marketing, or a website – content humanizes our brand so customers know us, our values, and what we have to offer.
Are you feeling stuck when it comes to content? The next five steps will surely help you get UNstuck and make this part of your business a little bit easier.
Here are the five steps to finding EASE in your content planning:
- Know the main goal of your content
- What do you want to share? Where do you want to share it?
- Create a Promotional Calendar – Weekly sales plans – easily accessible to everyone on your team.
- How often should you post or show up?
- What type of content should you share?
When it comes to the type of engaging, entertaining, and interesting content you’re sharing, I break it down even further:
- Timely things that are happening NOW (sales, events, pop culture, etc.) – Make sure it’s interesting for the customer.
- Engage Conversation (Call to Action) – Ask questions!
- Evergreen Content – Posts that always make sense for your customers
- Celebration – Share your customer’s stories. Get your community to share as well!
